Santa Ana Parish Church, more commonly known as Molo Church, is a Spanish Neo-gothic landmark in Molo, Iloilo City. Built in 1831 and completed in 1888, it is the only Gothic-Renaissance church in the Philippines outside Metro Manila. This historic church is made from white coral stone and limestone bound sand and egg white mortar.
The church features twin pointed red spires and a facade showcasing Gothic-Renaissance Revival elements. It also boasts a single high altar, four wooden side altars, and two decorated wooden pulpits.
In addition to its patroness, Saint Anne, Molo Church also houses life-sized statues of 16 other female saints, thus earning another nickname “feminist church”.
Molo Church was visited by Dr. Jose Rizal in 1886 and served as a refuge during World War II.
