The Iloilo Province occupies the south eastern portion of Panay island. Antique province is located on its western border, Capiz province to the north and the Iloilo Strait on its eastern border. Iloilo can be found in the Western Visayas Region of the Philippines and these are divisions of the province.

The municipalities and cities are grouped into 5 legislative districts. The province is represented in the Philippine Lower House of Congress through its First up to Fifth congressional districts.
